PELVIC HEALTH Physical Therapy
Take Control of Your Pelvic Health
Those little leaks or nagging issues "down there"—the ones you’ve tried to ignore—haven’t gone away, right? If anything, they’ve gotten worse.
signs you should seek a pelvic floor physical therapist
What once was a small leak with a sneeze or cough now happens just by clearing your throat.
That heavy feeling you used to get before your period now shows up after a long day on your feet or after a workout.
You feel like you’re turning into your mother, running to the bathroom constantly and telling your kids to "go, just in case."
You're reaching for a pad more often before heading to the gym or on a hike, just to play it safe.
You avoid intercourse because it’s too painful, no matter what you try.
Does this sound familiar?
If you’re nodding along, you might think this is just part of being a woman. But here’s the truth: You don’t have to live this way.

You Can Thrive—Not Just Cope
I want you to know I’ve been there. My journey began with a newfound appreciation for my body after experiencing unexpected postpartum challenges. As I started to specialize in pelvic health, I realized what I was going through wasn’t normal. Still, I was balancing a high-stress job, being a new mom, and studying. I told myself I didn’t have time to deal with it.
I hit a breaking point when my bladder nearly burst one day as I ran to the bathroom, leaving my crying son in the car in the driveway, barely unbuttoning my pants before I started to pee. At that moment, I realized I couldn’t do it all alone. I got support so I could not only be a more effective PT but also a mom. Nearly 10 years later, I get to support women with a modern approach to pelvic health with deep care and compassion because I’ve walked a similar path and know how life-changing this work is.
Now, as a pelvic health specialist, I help women regain control of their bodies—because I know how life-changing this can be.

What my clients have to say
Allison did an incredible job assessing and treating my needs for PT, (to help stabilize my hips and knees as well as to strengthen my core). She also identified and helped me find needed services for HRT. Both services in combination have stabilized former health issues. I am back to gardening, hiking and beginning to use a stand up paddle board. -Rebecca W.
