Hi, I’m Allison Poole.
PT, MPT, WHC, owner
My mission is to illuminate the often overlooked aspects of women's health and provide you with the tools and support to improve your well-being now and for decades to come.
My story
Perimenopause hit me early, and it wasn’t even on my radar…and I work in healthcare! It all started for me in my late thirties as I was just hitting my stride. I was building my business, the early parenting chaos was behind me, and our family finally felt settled in our neighborhood and social circles.
My days were a whirlwind of networking, coffee dates, and social media posts, all part of the “boss babe” routine. I was working relentlessly, even when I wasn’t in the office. When I wasn’t working, I just had nothing left in the tank to play and be present with my family and my libido was long gone.
All I really wanted to do was relax on the couch with a show and a glass of wine– preferably not talking to anyone. Can you relate?
But gradually, I started waking up drenched in sweat, dealing with constant irritability, and getting my period (and raging PMS) twice a month! I finally got myself to the doctor, convinced I was dying, but as I sat there in that oh-so-elegant paper gown, my doctor nonchalantly declared, “It’s perimenopause – welcome to the club!”
That was it.
There I was, feeling miserable with all of these symptoms, despite checking all of the “healthy” boxes:
eating well
meditating before bed
taking a cocktail of supplements
going to Acupuncture
getting up earlier to fit more exercise in even though it just made me more exhausted
Yet nothing was helping.
My doctor was saying this was all normal…yet I felt anything but normal.
I left the office with more questions than answers, wondering if I had to endure this hormonal rollercoaster for the next decade until menopause.
As I began my journey to “figure it out,” I learned the most important lesson of all:
The health and wellness culture won’t solve the primary issues of midlife and beyond. I’m talking – the eat less, move more, and the magic will happen – you just have to try harder, wake up earlier, and DO MORE – rhetoric that’s pervasive in our society.
Sure, that may have served me in my teens, twenties and early thirties…but not anymore. Perimenopause invites you to do something different. It invites you to pause.
And what a gift that was. The true change didn’t come from a special diet, exercise plan, or a supplement regimen. It came from getting support and tackling long-held beliefs that keep tripping me up. I needed to align my head and heart FIRST then things like nutrition, exercise and rest naturally fell into place.
My symptoms resolved and I’m able to embrace a life that feels spacious and relaxed (well, on most days!) as I navigate the natural hormonal shifts of midlife, and now I get to help other women do the same.

What my clients have to say
“Allison was such a pleasure to work with! She made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had. She took the time to truly listen to what I was experiencing and taught me about habitual changes and things I could do on my own at home to help my symptoms. I am most grateful for the knowledge she provided about how the pelvic floor works. If you’re experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, don’t hesitate to reach out to Allison!”
